Located on the south bank of the Thames is very large brick building that holds a collections of art that contrasts vastly from it’s exterior. Chalked full of modern art from Salvador Dali to Piet Mondrian, the massive museum is London’s premier modern art museum. During my visit, we viewed an exhibition that featured artist that used their art to express commentary on the media.
The exhibition was an incredibly
interesting exhibit, because it show the powerful influence that much media coverage and pop-culture. An influence so powerful that it's shaped and inspired many work of art by well known artists such as Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol (of whom are featured in this gallery).
