The first time I ever found myself meandering the sidewalks of Pearl Street Mall, I was pleasantly surprised when I spotted an incredibly detailed cat stenciled on the side of old pay-phone. As soon as I returned home to Fort Collins, I looked up the small pseudonym that was painted just beneath this exquisite cat: SMiLE.

I was amazed by the hundreds of images that popped up documenting his works all over Boulder and outside of Colorado. I knew right then that I would be spending one of my days off wandering the street of Boulder in search of these small masterpieces.
