In the heart of the River North District (RiNo) in Downtown Denver is a small three story museum called the Museum of Contemporary Art - Denver (MCaD). I heard whispers of an exhibit pertaining to life of Jean-Michel Basquiatbefore he was a well-known artist. When my I arrived with my best friend, Abby, we were overwhelming surprised to find out there all three exhibits where actually related to one another. I was even more pleased to find out that the first exhibit was entirely about the birth of graffiti in cities such as Philadelphia and New York City.

By the time we had worked our way through the first two exhibits, I was shocked to be welcomed by thousands of faces framed in polaroids that surround the entire third floor of the museum. The photography on the third floor was centered around the life of Ryan McGinley a homosexual, party animal photographer who used his friends as subjects for his work.
